Goal Fish

WALT: set SMART goals
Task: set a learning goal, a behaviour goal and an at home goal. Create a goal fish to display you goals.

Hiwi the kiwi writing

      Hiwi the kiwi

“Stormy and rough, my favourite fishing weather and I’m so excited.” 

So we start fishing but before I even get in the boat I put on my life jacket. I could see stormy black clouds in the sky coming up right in front of us. Bang!! Our boat smashes into a rock and starts to sink. "Help! Good job I have my life jacket on. I’m scared the boat is going to sink fast." 

Dad and I got a beacon and put it in saltwater. Bang, crash, the boat hit another rock. I could feel the boat sinking and filling with water.

 A plane started circling around our boat. We shot up a flare right in front of the plane, then we started bobbing up and down. When I tasted the salt water in my mouth -  "yuck." 

A boat comes to rescue us from our sinking one and get us back to land. When I got home I wrapped up warm.

Miko, what a fabulous piece of writing! You have worked hard on this, adding ideas, listening to feedback/feedforward and making sure it is 'ready to read'.
